He started out in the Shambhala tradition and has been practicing insight meditation since moving to San Francisco over 30 years ago.  He is a graduate of Spirit Rock Meditation Center’s Advanced Practitioners Program.  In addition to Insight Upper Market, he shares the dharma at Mission Dharma and the Gay Buddhist Fellowship and also leads a weekly drop in sitting group for seniors.
